Actor-comedian Joey Paras has passed away

 



JUST IN: Joey 'Bekikang' Paras Pumanaw na sa edad na 45.


Pumanaw na ang TV/Film/Theater actor, filmmaker, at playwright na si Joey Paras ayon sa kaniyang Pamilya.


“To all of our family and friends, we are saddened to announce that our Tito Joey Paras, passed away and joined our Creator this afternoon, October 29, 2023 at 5:40pm. Unfortunately his heart wasn't able to recover anymore.




“Currently, his remains is still at the hospital's morgue. We need to settle his hospital bills for us to take him home. Our family is knocking at your kind and generous heart to help us raise a fund to cover his hospital bills.”




Napanood at nakilala siya sa ilang pelikula kagaya ng 'Bekikang', "Igid' at sa ilang Kapamilya teleserye gaya ng 'Kahit Puso's Masugatan', at 'Flordeliza'.

  MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has reminded the public not to be fooled by political candidates making false promises about the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). The DSWD stressed in a statement Thursday that 4Ps “cannot be, in any way, used for electioneering or any partisan political activities.” he DSWD’s reminder comes as the country is set to hold the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on Monday, October 30. In an interview during the pilot episode of the DSWD Media Forum, Assistant Secretary Romel Lopez said: “Sa atin pong mga kababayan, kahit sino pong mangako sa inyo na kayo’y mapapasama sa 4Ps program, malamang hindi ho magkatotoo ‘yan.” ( To our fellow countrymen, no matter who promises you that you will be included in the 4Ps program, it will probably not come true .) “DSWD data lang po ang tatanungin.
